Purpose

• Increase accountability by assuring that education and workforce development activities in the region are effective and relevant to current and future needs of employers

Responsibilities

• Develop One-Stop operator criteria
• Recommend One-Stop operator to the Board for approval
• Develop performance criteria for One-Stop Centers
• Develop an integrated reporting system for One-Stop and all public funded E & T services
• Monitor all workforce development programs
• Develop policies and strategies for meeting the training and support needs of One-Stop customers
• Evaluate the performance of the local One-Stop system
• Make recommendations regarding the use of training dollars
• Develop incentive policies and plans
• Develop a plan for program delivery
• Approve hardship exemption request for the Welfare Transition Program
• Review all grants and contracts for performance
• Develop a map of all public funded resources in the region and provide a template for ongoing results reporting
• Develop work plans to achieve Board assigned goals and measures
• Report to the Board periodically on progress of work plans
